How do I get a temporary resident document with the “CUAET” remark on it?
If you’re in Canada under the CUAET measures but your temporary resident document (IMM 1442) does not have the “CUAET” remark, you can request it by following these steps:
- Submit a request using the crisis web form.
- Select “I need help with something else”.
- In the “Tell us about your situation” section:
- tell us that you didn’t get a temporary resident document with the “CUAET” remark
- include the address where you want us to mail your updated temporary resident document
- add “UKRAINE2022” at the end
- Upload a copy of the bio page of your passport (or other valid travel document).
- Upload a copy of your existing temporary resident document if you got one when you arrived in Canada.
After we verify your information and eligibility, we’ll mail the temporary resident document to the address you provided.
