How can I check that my residential or mailing address has been updated?

It’s possible for some applicants to use our online services to check that we’ve updated their address.

You can see your updated address in the following online services:

• the Application Status Tracker, if you’re eligible to use this tracker
• the Address Notification Service, if you used this service to give us your address
• the Change of Address Service, if you used this service to update your address
• the IRCC Portal – New version, if you used this service to apply online for your visitor visa

Your updated address will not

• appear in the account you used to apply online (unless you used the IRCC Portal – New version)
• be updated instantly (it may take up to 2 weeks)
