Express Entry: language averaging tool for people with disabilities
Use this tool if:
- you couldn't complete one or more sections of your language test because of a disability, and
- the testing organization didn’t give you a notionalized (averaged) score
How you can be accommodated is different depending on the designated language testing organization. Check the organizations’ websites to find if the accommodations they give are right for you.
You must get your averaged scores through this language averaging tool.
- Input the scores for the sections you did complete.
- Input “not tested” for the sections you did not complete.
Use these averaged scores in your profile in the Express Entry Profile Builder. We’ll verify both the averaged scores and the language test results you submit.
Note: If you had an exemption on an IELTS test, they’ll give you averaged band scores on the exempt section(s) of the test, based on the average score of the completed sections.
