Settling in a new country can be challenging for many immigrants. While Canada funds a variety of settlement services to help with this transition, it can be challenging to reach newcomers.
We have collected communications products and resources into a toolkit. This will help you spread the word about the services available for all newcomers across Canada, outside of Quebec.
To make sure these resources reach the community, we need your help. Spread the word by
- including links on your website
- publishing articles in your newsletter
- sharing social media content on your channels

- Newcomer employment: Looking for work in Canada can be challenging. Learn about regulated and unregulated jobs, the documents you will need to begin your job search, how to prepare for job interviews and where you can get free employment services.
- Newcomer mental health: Your mental health is important. Learn about some common symptoms of emotional struggles, activities that can contribute to positive mental health and where you can get help as a newcomer. This video is also available in Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Korean, Punjabi, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog and Tigrinya.
- Language training: Learn about the language training services that support the Francophone integration pathway. Find free language-training services for French-speaking newcomers settling in Francophone communities outside Quebec.
- Welcoming Francophone Communities initiative: Across Canada, 14 communities are going the extra mile to welcome Francophone immigrants.
