We fund many qualified professionals who can help you successfully adapt to life in Canada. Eligible people in Canada (except those in Quebec) can get these settlement services for free.
Check if you’re eligible for our free settlement services
The services we fund are for eligible people already in Canada (except those in Quebec), including
- all permanent residents, including resettled refugees
- people who are already approved to become permanent residents and who have been informed by a letter from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
- protected persons in Canada who have received a positive decision from the Immigration and Refugee Board
- temporary residents (and their dependants) in certain employment programs (for example, the Atlantic Immigration Program or Rural and Northern Immigration Program)
- people approved under certain special pathways
- Ukrainians and their families (until March 31, 2025)
- Palestinians who left Gaza on or after September 1, 2023, and their families (until March 31, 2027)
- participants in the Francophone Minority Communities Student Pilot and their families
