Someone claiming to be an immigration official contacts you unexpectedly.”

Citizenship or immigration consultants must be a member of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants.”

Minister Diab reappears, against a flat black background.

Minister Diab: “Honest representatives will not pressure you or guarantee an outcome. Only our officials can process an application. To learn if coming to Canada is right for you, please visit our website. If you spot a scam, contact your local authorities, and report it to our Client Support Centre and the Canadian Anti–Fraud Centre. Together, we can spot, stop and report immigration and citizenship fraud.”
